Microsoft is attracting top executives and AI engineers from OpenAI, a company in which it holds a minority stake. This has raised questions about what competition regulators can do about the movement of AI expertise into Microsoft. OpenAI’s board has failed to reinstate CEO Sam Altman, who has chosen to join Microsoft, along with president Greg Brockman and several leading AI engineers.
